Junebugs

June 29, 2023 jennadewitt
Swinging in the twilight
Summer sun cools to breezes
Vanilla ice cream—

Sticky memorial to innocence

Street lights come on
And junebugs play
As Dad laughs and Mom chats with the neighbors.
Remember
